Let it be known that on this glorious day in March, I returned to sculpture.
I miss it. It feels good.
For months now, I’ve been focused on setting up the studio and fine tuning my line of pots. With progress being made, however, I felt comfortable taking the time to slow down a bit and get back to sculpture, even for just a few days.
This frame I built is just the beginning of a new project I’ve been dreaming about since last fall. The clay work comes next.
It feels good. I know this because I’ve been just a little more serene, a little happier these past 24 hours. That should tell me something. Sculpture feeds the soul. ∆
